D83 NB-IoT / LTE Cat 1 Modem
Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) is a standards-based, low-power wide-area (LPWA) technology designed to support a wide range of IoT devices and services ( it is named Cellular modem or DTU as well). Built on a subset of the LTE standard, NB-IoT operates within a narrow bandwidth of 200kHz, optimizing it for efficient, low-power connectivity.
WLINK D83 is a rugged, industrial-class NB-IoT/ LTE CAT 1 (eMTC) modem designed specifically for IoT and M2M applications. Equipped with RS232/RS-485 interfaces and supporting PPP, UDP, and CoAP protocols, it seamlessly converts user data into LTE NB-IoT/CAT-M1 network signals and transmits it to your data center through a fully transparent data channel.
This robust modem enables simple, rapid integration of cellular connectivity into IoT/M2M systems, making it ideal for industrial automation, remote monitoring, and smart infrastructure deployments.
D83 Series modems feature a unique compact design and ultra-low power consumption, making them an ideal solution for a wide range of industrial automation and monitoring applications. These include:
Smart water, oil, gas monitoring, Power systems, Environmental protection, Water conservancy, Lighting control and monitoring
