HOME > Case > Smart City > City Video Surveillance Security System

Background

With the development of cities and the growth of population, the crime and transport hubs accidents have increasingly become serious public safety problems. Many different areas in a city require specialized surveillance applications to address these public challenges, they may include transport hubs, bus-rail interchanges, car parks, public parks, high-security buildings, warehouses, maintenance facilities and many other types of facilities.

Municipal functional departments have explored new technologies and tailor-made solution that can be used to improve public safety services. For example, 5G/4G based IoT technology is widely used Oto build an innovative city surveillance system, which collects data from multiple sources in real time. When an emergency occurs, an alarm will be triggered immediately to help the operator immediate actions. In some cases, it can even help to prevent illegal behavior and serious events.

WLINK Solution

Deploy WLINK 5G/4G routers in transport hubs and public areas to establish high-speed, low delay and stable network connection, transfer the real-time data to surveillance center. WLINK 5G/4G router supports multiple LAN ports to connect to IP cameras, IO ports to connect to emergency button. When citizens encounter an emergency, press the emergency button. The WLINK 5G/4G router will trigger the audible and visual alarm, and automatically send alarm SMS and GNSS location, also trigger the cameras to transmit real-time picture to the surveillance center.

Benefit & Security

  • Detect vehicle speeding.

  • Prevent illegal parking for all kinds of vehicles or specific vehicles.

  • Prevent vehicles that cross the line at the traffic lights when the light is red.

  • Identification and tracking of suspects/criminals even in a crowded and uncontrolled environment.

  • Detection of suspicious behaviors using many-to-many Face Recognition system.

  • Be ableto link different events from a large number of cameras and to provide a full picture and event association for immediate actions.

  • Recognition of suspicious activities determined by using a combination of video andaudio recognition systems. Generate an alert for incidents like gunshots, serious car accidents and screaming sounds.

On Site Common Devices

l   WLINK 5G/4G Industrial Router

l   IP Cameras

l   1x emergency Button, 1x audio alarm and 1x Warning LED

l   Other tailor-made terminals

Data Center

An immediate, accurate and convenient alarm management platform software is installed at the data centra, enable the data center could quickly, timely and accurately display the information and push the relevant information to the person in charge. The platform remotely monitors the real-time operating status of the WLINK 5G/4G Router, manage and upgrade the device, generate operating reports, and when a device is offline will automatically trigger an alarm to the management staff to detect faults in a timely manner.
