With the increasing demand in the global poultry industry day by day, it is crucial to cleverly manage and cultivate poultry using modern technology to promote production and efficiency in poultry farming. Introducing IoT system in poultry farm will benefit in providing ease of operation and real-time data observation through the internet to the user. IoT-based Smart monitoring will give a hassle-free and better observation experience to the user of the Poultry Farm.
Wlink IoT Smart monitoring system for Poultry Farm consists of three major components: 4G wireless communication RTU Gateway and various sensors/microcontrollers, which can be used to control and monitor environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, ammonia, etc. in poultry farms and central management platform. This system will use the sensors and microcontroller unit to perform the said operations of feeding, water supply, and temperature-humidity observation, which are the leading causes of epidemic or diseases for poultry farm, helps reduces expenses, conserves energy and accelerates business development.
How does the WLink system work?
As the diagram shows, the system consists of WL-RT600 4G RTU, various sensors/controllers and WLink central management platform.
Ø WL-RT600 4G RTU
The RT600 is a versatile device designed for data collection and transmission.
Its rich interfaces - RS-232, RS-485, Digital Input, Analog Input - can integrate seamlessly with sensors, control devices, and actuators. Its built-in 4G communication module ensures reliable and high-speed data transmission to the data center over wireless 4G network.

These interfaces allow seamless integration with various sensors, actuators, and control devices
3. AI and DI Interfaces
AI interfaces allow direct connection to analog sensors such as temperature, humidity, and gas sensors.
DI interfaces enable monitoring of digital signals, such as door status, water level, or equipment on/off states.

In charge of getting the temperature and humidity data of the poultry farm and sending to WL-RT600 4G RTU gateway via RS485 interface.
NH3 and CO2 gas sensor
Monitoring NH3 levels and CO2 levels of Poultry Farm. The WL-RT600 will collect sensors data and transmit to monitor platform. The platform will alert when NH3 level and CO2 level exceed the defined value.
Ø WLINK IoT Management Platform
All the collected data from sensors/controllers will be sent to WLINK IoT platform and can be shown via a web dashboard. The real-time data are displayed in an intuitive form on WLink platform to achieve real-time monitoring and remote management. You can quickly build a Smart Poultry dashboard to monitor the environment, which includes sending alert notifications when a certain threshold is breached. The messages can be sent via email, Telegram, or SMS.
